10 1967 Ford Mustang

The Tokyo Drift’s 1967 Ford Mustang was fitted with the RB26DETT engine straight from a Nissan Skyline GT-R. Sean Boswell’s character who was played by Lucas Black drove the 1967 Mustang at drift-style racing and even challenged Takashi, the Drift King to a race with the restored Mustang. The race car, which is a tad less than $20,000, has a spool, and a 430-cubic-inch Windsor motor that raised the power rating of the ’67 Ford Mustang to 500 hp.

The Fast & Furious Mustang also has upgraded brakes, seats, and wheels. Sean Morris’ Toprank Importers that built the 1967 Ford Mustang also designed other Mustangs like the 1969 Mustang Fastback that was used in Fast & Furious 6.

9 1992 Honda Civic EG Hatchback

The 1992 Honda Civic EG Hatchback which appeared briefly in the Fast & Furious belongs to Noel Gugliemi who plays Hector in the movie. The customizations in the Honda Civic EG includes the Technik wide-body kit, 18-inch BBS Volk Racing III rims, and the marble gold paint job.

The ’92 Honda Civic went on sale for about $14,000 and even though it was discontinued, you can get a used one for half the price.

8 1992 Toyota Supra

Although Paul Walker’s character Brian O’Connor usually drives a Skyline, he outran the Dodge Charger driving a 1992 Toyota Supra in a quarter-mile race… and in less than two minutes!

Jokes aside, a used 1992 Toyota Supra is nowhere near cheap, but it’s close enough, with prices starting at around $40,000 for good-condition examples. However, the one in the franchise features many interesting upgrades like the 3-inch exhaust, orange wheels, and a sleek steering wheel. The 3.0-liter straight-six engine of the Toyota Supra puts out 320 hp bone stock.

7 1993 Mazda RX-7

In the first scenes of Fast & Furious, Vin Diesel who plays the role of Dominic Toretto drives a bright red 1993 Mazda RX-7. The initial design of the Mazda RX-7 follows that of a Keith Imoto car with a roll cage. However, Vin Diesel found it difficult to squeeze into the car, so the roll cage was jettisoned.

The stock model came with a twin-turbo engine that delivers 255 hp. The mods on the Mazda RX-7 include Lexan headlight covers, VeilSide rims, and VeilSide USA Aero body kit. The Mazda RX-7 has been discontinued, but you can find a used one for roughly $30,000.

6 1994 Acura Integra GS-R

An Acura Integra GS-R featured in the first film, The Fast and the Furious back in 2001, was driven by the American rapper Ja Rule, who played Edwin. The first four-way street race encounter between Paul Walker’s character Brian O’Connor and Vin Diesel’s Dom showed the Acura Integra GS-R for the first time.

The 1994 Integra GS-R was designed by Bill Kohl and Samko Racing Enterprises, and features some interesting mods like the Wings West RS Racing body kit. The stock Acura Integra GS-R has a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine that puts out 170 hp and goes for roughly $20,000.

5 1995 Volkswagen Jetta A3

In The Fast and the Furious, a 1995 Volkswagen Jetta A3 appears to be driven by Chad Lindberg’s character Jesse. The ’95 Jetta, which is powered by a 2.0L 4-cylinder engine, first appeared when Jesse pulled up to Dom’s store accompanied by Vince, Leon, and Letty.

Although in the movie Brain cautions Jesse to avoid racing Tran because the upgrades on the Volkswagen Jetta cost over $100,000, the stock vehicle is just about $19,000. The visual enhancements on the Volkswagen Jetta include West Wing body kit, custom headlights, and wheels.

4 1997 Nissan 240SX

Michelle Rodriguez stars as Letty Ortiz In the Fast & Furious franchise, and she’s seen driving a 1997 Nissan 240SX at a street race, and also escapes with the same car when the cops arrive. Michelle is also seen in another scene where she challenges another Mazda RX-7 driver to a race.

The Nissan 240SX is enhanced for the movie with dark red paint, a rear spoiler, and a VIS GT aluminum wing. The Nissan 240SX is factory-rated 220 hp with a Nissan SR20 DET engine. The Nissan 240SX tops out at 130 mph and is an affordable alternative to the 2000 Nissan Silvia S15, which was also featured in the franchise.

The 1999 Nissan Maxima first appears in the franchise when Matt Schulze who plays the character Vince pulls up at Toretto’s shop and a fight ensues between Vince and Brian. Matt also drives the Nissan Maxima, which costs roughly $3,000, at race wars in the franchise.

The 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VII was driven by the late Paul Walker and Chris “Ludacris” Bridges. It’s a $23,833 sports compact sedan with a Mitsubishi 2.0-liter 4G63 engine with a factory power rating of 276 hp and a top speed of 157 mph.

The mods on this high-performance sports car include a DAMD body kit, and TYC taillights. It would interest you to know that the 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VII is one of the few cars that wasn’t destroyed in the franchise.

1 2010 Dodge Charger SRT 8

Four Dodge Charger models appeared in the Fast & Furious franchise, but the 2010 SRT 8 is definitely one of the cheapest, valued at around $17,000 in the used-car market. The 2010 SRT 8 was driven by Vin Diesel’s character Dom in the franchise, but Vin Diesel seems to love the muscle car so much that he got one for his personal collection.

The four-door Charger comes with a 6.1-liter V8 producing 425 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque, making it both one of the cheapest and one of the most powerful cars on this list straight from the factory. However, we doubt Dom and his team left it stock in the movies.
